Description

UCR ServiceLink portal will be updated to include a Student Software Catalog. This software catalog will replace the current process at mysoftware.ucr.edu. Once deployed, students arriving at mysoftware.ucr.edu will be redirected to an ITS page where they can read more about this change. Updates include: Menu change from "Make a Request" to "Request Services and Software", NEW Catalog widget to allow users to filter between services and software, ten software titles in four categories available for eligible students. Once launched, more information can be found in the Knowledge Base under "Student Software Catalog".

Please be advised that Preventive Maintenance will be performed on the SoME Data Center UPS from 8 am to 5 pm PDT , Saturday, November 14, 2020. No impact is expected. Services should continue to run as normal. This UPS maintenance window is to allow vendor to perform repairs/replacements in the unit to re-establish network connection for monitoring purposes. The ethernet connection that permits status information to be collected and monitored is being repaired/replaced, thus restoring the ability to proactively monitor UPS status or detect potential problems. UPS vendor requires the UPS to be disabled during this maintenance event. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause.
